About This CourseElectrical Mastery is designed to help technicians develop a deeper understanding of automotive electrical and electronic systems used in today’s vehicles. This course focuses on real-world electrical diagnosis and testing procedures that technicians can apply directly in the shop to improve diagnostic accuracy and confidence. Students will learn the theory and operation of automotive electrical systems, including voltage, current, resistance, circuit behavior, wiring schematics, batteries, starters, charging systems, electronic components, and diagnostic testing procedures. The course also introduces the proper use of digital multimeters, circuit testers, graphing meters, and oscilloscopes used during advanced electrical diagnosis. This course may help students strengthen the foundational knowledge necessary to prepare for the ASE A6 Electrical/Electronic Systems certification test. However, successful completion of this course alone does not guarantee passing any ASE certification examination. The instructor has over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry and serves as both a technical advisor and automotive instructor. Each chapter includes a full video presentation along with assessments designed to reinforce student learning. At the conclusion of the course, students must complete a final assessment with a passing score of 70% or higher to receive a Certificate of Completion and proof of course completion.
